Dividoku is a sudoku variant with which you also practice dividing and multiplying.
A division (27: 3 = 9 or 27: 9 = 3) looks like this: dividend: divisor = quotient.
What does this mean in the context of a sudoku?
Dividend: number outside the sudoku field (e.g. 27)
Divisor: number of cells that you are away from the dividend (e.g. 3 or 9).
The divisor determines the cell in which you will enter the quotient, for example, cell 3 or 9.
Quotient: result of the division (e.g. 9 or 3). Depending on the divisor this is e.g. 9 or 3.
In this way, a dividoku also gives a visual representation of a division.
You can walk back and forth across 3 squares 9 times or by over 9 squares 3 times.
