HOW TO DO KAKURO PUZZLES

  • Start with a small kakuro puzzle for beginners.
  • Use a kakuro combinations table.
  • Look for clues that can be solved only in a specific way: sum 3 across two cells is always 1 + 2.
  • Learn the last cell technique and the croos reference method.
  • Look for row and column restrictions.
  • Some numbers cannot be composed of certain digits. This is especially true with a limited number of cells. Clue 16 can contain 1 when there are 4 cells, but not when there are only 2 cells.

If you have never played this puzzle before, than it is better to read the kakuro rules.
