SUGURU SOLVING TIPS

TECHNIQUE FOR 3-SHAPE

With a 3-shape we mean 3 boxes that belong together. There are 2 variants.

At (a) the 3-shape has an angle and at (b) the 3-shape is a rectangle.

In the example below we are looking for possible candidates for boxes A, B and C.

HOW TO SOLVE A SUGURU PUZZLE:

• In boxes A and B you can never place 1-2-3, because then you wouldn't be able to place them in the 3-shape (a) or (b).
• Conclusiion: in boxes A and B you only have 4-5 as only candidates. In box C number 4 is the only candidate.
